I sat and closed my eyes. I was the Minotaur raging and fighting against the Man. I fought with pure fury in self protection. All I was in that moment was hatred toward the Man who came to kill me. I would have justice for his crimes against me. A distance away stood another creature the Man had come for, the Centaur in all his pride. He kept his space, nocking and releasing his arrows at the Man. All he was worried about was keeping himself safe. The Centaur did not care for me, I however fought for us and all those like us.
The Centaur
I sat and closed my eyes. I was the Centaur whose blood burned in indignation from the insults thrown by the Man. He swore and cursed the ground I trot while claiming I was a disease. He came to crusade and kill my tribe and any other beings in his way. The Minotaur and I engaged him in battle. Brutish though he may be, he gave me admirable vantage in this fight. My people have perfected these tactics. The Minotaur should be grateful for my help. Soon we would be rid of this pest and we could once again go our separate ways as it will always be.
The Man
I sat and closed my eyes. I was the Man boldly going into battle to rid my world of demons. Hideous beasts marred the landscape before me. The wrathful Minotaur charged and I began my fight. My sword met his axe and horns, his lust for violence disgusted me. Far away another monster came to his aid. The Centaur, a true abomination. Half man half horse mocking me as he rained down arrows. These creatures had no shame in trying to kill human beings. They are a poison to the whole of creation, tainting perfection. I will not have peace until I am rid of them.
